The bearing radial clearance is to allow the rolling bearing to have a wide internal clearance under normal conditions after the tight fit assembly. 

When installing, do not directly hammer the bearing end face and-bearing face. Press the block, use the sleeve or other mounting tools to make the bearing uniformly stressed. If you lubricate the mounting surface, the installation will be easier. If the interference fit is larger, should put the bearing into the mineral oil in installation as soon as possible after heating to 80 ~ 90 ℃, strictly control the oil temperature does not exceed 100 ℃. It is in order to prevent the effect of tempering hardness decrease and recovery effect size.

When meeting the difficult disassembly, it is better that you use the disassembly tool to pull outward and carefully pour hot oil on the inner ring. The heat will cause the inner ring of the bearing to expand, thus making it easy to fall off.

Bearing Radial Clearance

Not all bearings require a minimum working clearance, and you must select a suitable clearance depending on the working conditions. In international4604-93, the rolling bearing radial clearance has five groups -group 2, group 0, group 3, group 4, and group 5. And the clearance value increases successively from small to large, among which group 0 is the standard clearance.

The basic radial clearance group is suitable for general operating conditions, normal temperature, and common interference fit. Bearing working under special conditions such as high temperature and speed, low noise and friction should use large radial clearance. Precision spindle and bearing of the machine tool should use the small radial clearance. Roller bearings can maintain a small working clearance.

In addition, there is no clearance for the separated bearing. Finally, the working clearance after bearing installation is smaller than the original clearance before installation. Because the bearing has to bear a certain amount of load rotation, as well as the bearing coordination and load cause elastic deformation.

How to Adjust The Bearing

For the problem of seal defects with inlaid sealing bearings, you must carry out two steps strictly in the process of adjustment.

  1. Change the inlaid sealing bearing cover structure to both sides of the bearing. You can adjust from the mounting structure of the bearing of the equipment. No direct contact with the bearing and do the dustproof treatment from outside the bearing. This kind of structure seal effect is higher than the bearing self-seal which is from the bearing agent. It directly blocks the invasion path of granular material and ensures the cleaning of the bearing interior. This structure improves the cooling space of the bearing and does little damage to the bearing anti-fatigue performance.
  2. Although the external seal of the bearing has a good seal effect, the heat dissipation path is also blocked, so it is necessary to install cooling components. The cooling device can reduce the operating temperature of the lubricant. After cooling, the heat is dissipated naturally and the high-temperature operation of the bearing can be avoided.
